Kegging beer at home is where a lot of homebrewers start overthinking — or rushing — a process that’s actually pretty simple when you understand what matters.
In this video, I’m kegging my Old Timber Pale Ale (Sierra Nevada–style) and walking through the full process step by step:
• Transferring beer from fermenter to keg
• What to do when a keg won’t seal and CO₂ starts leaking
• How I carbonate using 35 PSI on / 24 hours off
• Why I don’t use “set and forget” or shake-and-roll methods
This is real-world kegging — including problems that happen (CO2 Leaks!) and how to fix them without panicking or ruining your beer.
