PANEL DISCUSSION ON FEBRUARY 27
LANIER THEOLOGICAL LIBRARY
TOPIC: JOHN MILTON AND THEOLOGY
The Lanier Theological Library is inviting scholars and patrons to a free panel discussion on Friday, February 27, from 2:00 - 3:30 p.m., in our chapel. This discussion precedes the library's lecture on Saturday evening by Dennis Danielson.
This 90-minute session on Friday will feature a panel made up of these four participants.
Dennis Danielson, Professor of English at the University of British Columbia
Phillip Donnelly, Associate Professor of Literature in the Honors College of Baylor University
Emily Stelzer, Assistant Professor in Literature at Houston Baptist University
Mark Lanier, J.D. trial attorney, Bible Teacher, author, and founder of the Lanier Theological Library
The general theme of discussion will tie in with the Saturday lecture which is entitled "Milton's Paradise Lost: Epic Lessons in How to Avoid Idolatry." The panel will have a much broader focus to include John Milton and theology in general.
