Nowadays many guitar pedals can be controlled via MIDI. Often you even get extra features that can't be accessed any other way. If you own Ableton Live, Max for Live is a great way to take full control of those pedals! 🎚🎛
I'm working on a Max for Live device for my Red Panda Tensor, one of my favourite pedals, and I'll release it soon 🐼❤️. But since there are many pedal nerds out there and not all of them own a Tensor, I decided to share how to build such a device yourself. Sharing is caring, after all and this way you can control any of your pedals from Ableton Live.
The same goes for hardware synths and really anything that can receive MIDI CC.
