Knowing how to play green side bunker shots will help you get the ball close to the hole. Their are a few simple rules you must follow to ensure you play this shot correctly. Follow these rules if you have a perfectly smooth lie.
1. Open the club face.
2. Play the ball near your front foot.
3. Sink your feet into the sand and keep your lower body very stable.
4. Hinge the club going back but pull the grip of the club ahead of the club head.
5. Splash the sand and accelerate.
