Painting and adding decals to the HobbyBoss Scammell Commander.
The model was taken outside on a sunny Saturday morning and left for a couple minutes to warm up, before being sprayed with Tamyia Olive Drap spray from a rattle can, the unit and trailer took two cans to spray, but there was bits missed, so a third can was bought in the aim of decanting some for brush painting.
Once sprayed, the windows were unmasked and detail parts; exhaust, radiator, tow bars and other details painted. Silver string was glued and hand wound on to the winch drum, a task that would have been easier disassembled.
The decals were applied and model assembled.
There is still jobs to do, painting the Long Vehicle signs, and buy a Mk5 Chieftain tank for a load.
