As a Mountain Runner, Adventure Racer, Mountain Leader, course planner and organiser for many adventure races I have had the pleasure of exploring the Island of Ireland, particularly the wilderness areas. I intend on revisiting my favorites, many of them used in various races I have planned and this time I will bring a camera to share the adventure. My favourate training rute in the Mournes is from Happy Valley car park to Slieve Meelmore & Bearnagh with a cross country run around Meelbeg and past Fofanny Dam and back to the car park. It takes about 2.5 hours to run and takes in some cool views.
Due to the fact that I forgott my backup batteries I had to do the run twice in order to get suitable footage for this video. I was able to use my HOVERAir X1 for the first time.
