The Border Guard Bangladesh, otherwise known as BGB, is a paramilitary force that works under the Ministry of Home Affairs. The force has the responsibility to secure 4,427 km border areas of Bangladesh.

Major General Shafeenul Islam is the current DG of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB).

The Border Guards Bangladesh operates anti-smuggling operations, investigates cross border crimes and extend governmental authority in remote areas of the country.
