Strength through Weakness - Messengers Session #3 (Acts 18-20 & 1-2 Corinthians)

Описание: In this session, we step into one of the most influential and complicated cities of the ancient world. As Paul plants the church in Corinth, the gospel takes root in a culture shaped by wealth, status, competition, and moral confusion—and the church begins to reflect more of Corinth than of Christ.

By reading Acts 18–20 alongside 1 and 2 Corinthians, we explore how the message of the cross confronts a success-driven society. Paul addresses division, pride, sexual immorality, spiritual gifts, generosity, and questions about leadership—not by offering self-help advice, but by redefining power, wisdom, and spirituality through the crucified Messiah. In 2 Corinthians especially, we see Paul defend a cross-shaped apostleship against flashy “super-apostles,” insisting that true authority builds up rather than shows off.
