In response to a number of the comments and messages that I received from you guys over the past week about “paywalling” my videos, I've decided to keep uploading tutorials to this YouTube channel. As much as I have my gripes with this platform, I am eternally grateful for the community of curious and creative Bitwiggers that we have created together. The outpouring of love for these videos, and the sadness for my leaving that you guys shared, really helped put things in perspective. I started this channel three years ago in order to give back and help spread the love and joy I have experienced by living in harmony with creativity and so that I shall continue to do.

In today's video, we look at a way to really highlight the feeling of the different modes by using a droning, monotone bass and pad line to hold down an unchanging tonal centre. By then generating random melody lines one with some chance-based note operator fun, we end up with some deliciously generative wild and wonky sounds. I would love to see what you guys come up with using this technique in all of your individual styles of music, so please do share anything you end up making in the community section.
