Описание: ശ്രീലങ്കൻ തീരത്തിന് സമീപം ഇറാന്റെ പടക്കപ്പൽ യുഎസ് നാവികസേന ടോർപിഡോ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് തകർത്തു. കപ്പലിൽ നിന്ന് 87 മൃതദേഹങ്ങൾ കണ്ടെടുത്തെങ്കിലും 32 പേരെ രക്ഷപ്പെടുത്തി. ഇന്ത്യൻ നാവികസേനയുടെ മിലാൻ അഭ്യാസത്തിലും ഫ്ലീറ്റ് റിവ്യൂവിലും പങ്കെടുത്ത കപ്പലാണ് ആക്രമിക്കപ്പെട്ടത്. സംഭവത്തിൽ കേന്ദ്രസർക്കാർ വിശദീകരണം നൽകണമെന്ന് കോൺഗ്രസ് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു. 'ഇന്ത്യയ്ക്ക് സ്വന്തം അയൽപക്കത്ത് സ്വാധീനമില്ലേ എന്നും അയൽപക്കവും വാഷിംഗ്ടണിനും ടെല്ലവീവിനും വിട്ടുകൊടുത്തോ' എന്നും എഐസിസി മീഡിയ വിഭാഗം ചെയർമാൻ പവൻ ഖേര ചോദിച്ചു.
