This was the logo variant MTM Enterprises used for its' production of "The New WKRP In Cincinnati", a 1991-93 syndicated spin-off/sequel/reboot of the 1978-82 CBS sitcom "WKRP In Cincinnati". Gordon Jump, Frank Bonner, and Richard Sanders all reprised their respective main roles from the original series as inept station general manager Arthur "Big Guy" Carlson, slimy sales representative Herb Tarlek and nerdy newscaster Les Nessman.
Nine years after we last saw that ragtag gang at that Cincinnati radio station, WKRP's ratings, which had risen steadily in the original series, had fallen drastically. Arthur then hires a new staff to help turn the station's fortunes around again.
Several cast members also make appearances on the new show. Howard Hesseman returns on a recurring basis as Dr. Johnny Fever. Loni Anderson makes a guest appearance as WKRP's old secretary Jennifer Marlowe and Tim Reid guests as former night DJ Gordon Sims, aka Venus Flytrap.
The variant features Mimsie saying "Oooooh", which was the catchphrase of Les Nessman.
