Gerard Gilet has quietly been making collector-grade acoustic guitars for over 40 years. His ethos is simple - to make the best guitars possible, crafting them from increasingly hard-to-find exotic and indigenous timbers with a mix of science, old-fashioned know-how and an uncompromising approach to quality. It's a recipe that has established him as one of the most highly regarded luthiers in Australia...

From inception to prototype to production, every single feature on the Artist GG1 has been painstakingly designed by Gerard Gilet, according to the master luthier’s every aesthetic and construction principle. Forget what you know about signature guitar models… this is a guitar completely designed by its namesake.
