Rite Aid closures bring more concerns for pharmacy customers

Описание: Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) — For the second time in less than a year, a major pharmacy has announced closings in the Rochester area.

It’s difficult news for Rite Aid employees and customers, with 12 stores closing for good across the Rochester-Finger Lakes region.

The pharmacy chain filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and will start layoffs this week in Western New York.

According to WARN notices, 128 people will be laid off this week because of planned closures of 12 stores across Monroe, Ontario, Wayne, Genesee, Wyoming and Yates counties.
