We had a week off from touring in May so we moved back into the studio near El Paso, Texas, where we recorded a lot of Sand & Snow back in January. We begun recording some live performances of those songs, threw in some covers and ended up with a collection of unique videos with us playing for the joy of playing. We are calling them 'The Sycamore Tapes' and we will be uploading these videos once a week. We hope you will enjoy watching a no tricks, no frills video collection of the band simply being a band. Some of the songs you'll know, some are exclusive versions of things you already own and others are interpretations of other people's songs that we really love.
All intimately and beautifully captured on film by our great friend Luca Venter in the same spirit and at the moment the music was recorded; one camera, one take, no editing. So put on some headphones and enjoy these as if we were playing a show just for you, right in this moment in time.
