Is Cathay Pacific A350 Premium Economy WORTH IT?

This trip report recorded my another premium economy class flight experience on Cathay Pacific, from Manchester to Hong Kong, onboard one of their Airbus A350-900. Since this is a westbound flight, the overall flight time will be a bit shorter by comparing with the opposite direction.

Cathay Pacific's Premium Economy Class seat is one of the best offerings among all airlines with such class. The seat is absolutely comfortable and have a generous recline space. The hot towel and welcoming drink are also nice gestures before the flight departs.

Yet, the catering itself and its timing for service may hinder the overall experience. In my opinion, the food itself are a too salty but it depends on different people's preferences, so not much to be blamed with. Other than that, the timing for presenting the second meal was a bit awkward. I am not sure whether it is the approach to maximize crew's rest time or not, the second meal service started at the middle of the flight, in which the first meal service just finished around 2-3hours before.

To sum up, the overall experience is nice, the inflight service level is quite consistent by comparing with my flight to Dubai, with the same product. If there is another chance, I would definitely fly on Cathay A350's Premium Economy class again ^^
