Our Indian friend went fishing again and brought us incredibly fresh mackerel 🐟 — and once again, I cooked one of our favorite Filipino dishes: Mackerel Adobo.
This time, I followed the advice of my Filipino subscribers and made Adobo without sugar — simple, savory, and very traditional 🇵🇭
The fish was marinated in advance, so the flavors turned out deep and rich.
We are counting the days until our trip to the Philippines, and we miss Filipino food so much that we cook it at home very often.
