Lookout Mountain: Secluded Beauty in Oregon's Ochocos

This little-known trail in the heart of Oregon’s Ochoco Mountains, east of Prineville, offers panoramic views from the top and pristine beauty on the way. I encountered no other hikers on this secluded trail over my 5 hour, 8 mile roundtrip hike.
Lookout Mountain was actually my first project intended for YouTube, filmed back in the spring as you can surmise from the abundant wildflowers. I'm now finally getting to publish it.
Note: there is at least one other better-known Lookout Mountain in Oregon, about 8 miles SE of Mt. Hood. This video's Lookout Mountain in the Ochocos is far more remote and lightly traveled.
