In Part 3 of the Blackstone Fortress journey, reality begins to tear at the seams. Janus Draik's expedition enters a corridor of maddening geometry which leads them to the "River of Flesh"—a stream of living tissue and muscle flowing through the station's halls. To proceed, the heroes must ascend a giant waterfall of roaring blood.
But the Fortress is not empty: the path is blocked by mutated Imperial Guard soldiers twisted by the Warp. Draik, balancing on the edge of madness as an artifact fuses directly into his skull , must take an impossible shot to destroy the witch controlling the heretic horde. At the end of the road awaits a majestic and eerie discovery—an ancient Imperial battlecruiser embedded directly into the walls of the Blackstone Fortress.
