Welcome to the latest episode of Spotting! Today I am at Newport station in South Wales, located on the South Wales Main Line. Today services are seen by Transport for Wales, Great Western Railway and CrossCountry.
It was a very wet day here in Newport and also very cold. We did see quite a bit in terms of variety and because this was after the then recent RMT Union strike, a lot of ECS moves were done too. The station I'm glad to see has not changed much, other than having the wires up for electrification. Sadly no 387s were seen in this video, maybe next time!
