This Vlog is about our visit to Shaktipeeth-Kiriteswari Temple.
Kiriteswari Temple is a Shaktipeeth among 51 Shaktipeethas, situated in Kiritkona village under the Nabagram in Murshidabad district in the state of West Bengal. Kiriteswari Temple is a famous religious place in the Kiritkona village, under the Nabagram in Murshidabad district, and It is also known by the name Mukuteshwari Temple.
Distance from Berhampore Station is near about 26 Kms.
Nearest Railway Station is - Dahapara Dham Railway Station
We have talked to the Priests and there is a dispute as which one is a shaktipeeth as there are two temples in the same place and both claim themselves to be shaktipeeth But this place needs more attention for Re-construction.
Kirit of Mata Sati fell in this place but the original place was destroyed a long time ago due to lightening. The New temples were later Re-constructed. Devi is also worshipped as Mukuteshwari .
Prasad is available in the Mandir place and Photography is allowed here.
We got a glimps of rural bengal, village life on the way to Temple.
Way to Temple : Best way to Temple is via NH-34,Before Palsunda take right turn and a very well maintained PWD road will take you to the temple directly,It is about 9 km.
