15 years ago John together with his wife and son left their life in Australia to start an eco resort in Bali!
Today we are visiting him in the beautiful Bali Eco Stay, where we are truly immersed in nature. The nourishing food comes straight from the permaculture garden and the energy straight from the hydropower generated from the on-land waterfall. The beautiful bungalows are built out of natural materials and the pure spring water flows out of all the taps. Organic waste from the kitchen along with help of chickens is turned into compost which nourishes the food forest. Human waste from the bathrooms goes through the special filtration system and nourishes the flower garden.
Rohil and I came here for the first time over a year ago, and we fell in love with this place. We were looking for the perfect space for our Purna Yoga Retreats. Once we found this gem place which holds strong values for nature and people, we knew we found exactly what we've been looking for.
