Greg Maddux had a Hall of Fame career in which he won 4 Cy Young Awards, won the ERA title 4 times, and won 18 gold gloves, the most of any player in baseball history. In his 23 year career, Maddux was a finesse pitcher who had immense control. He reached new heights in 1995, and put up a historically great season. His 1.63 ERA is 2nd only to Bob Gibson's 1.12 ERA from the 1968 season (which forced MLB to lower the mound to increase offense). Maddux accomplished many great things that season, but there's one thing in particular that was missing... (watch to find out what that is).
