Hiking in Austria (Part 1): To the Top of Seefelder Spitze

We took a little break from our home trails in Norway and traveled to Innsbruck, Tirol for a week-long hiking holiday. This is just the beginning of our multipart series from our amazing trip. Stick around as we explore some of the most scenic mountain routes around Innsbruck. :)

We began with a scenic hike to Seefelder Spitze. We started in the charming alpine town of Seefeld in Tirol, just a short train ride away from Innsbruck. We took the Rosshütte Bergbahnen funicular up into the mountains and began our ascent. We could not have asked for better conditions - clear blue skies and 30°C summer heat made it feel like a dream. At the summit of Seefelder Spitze, we were greeted by panoramic views of the Karwendel mountain range, Reither Spitze, the town of Seefeld and the stunning valleys below.
