Daniel Evans, Artistic Director of Chichester Festival Theatre, talks to Paul Seven Lewis about the venue's COVID-safe Autumn 2020 season. He explains why he chose Sarah Kane's challenging play Crave to start the season, why he himself is appearing in Celebrating Sondheim and why we should all give Sondheim a chance, plus what he really thinks about the Chichester audience.
Crave stars Erin Doherty and Alfred Enoch and is directed by Tinuke Craig. The play runs from 29 October to 7 November 2020. Most of the performances will be live streamed.
