After 3 years and 50 dropped projects, we FINALLY managed to finish a collab together😭💜💜💜 EVERYBODY STAND UP💃

Ever since Olivia's new album dropped I wanted to edit every single song on it but they're veeery hard to edit, i was not surprised to see that there were barely any edits on here🥱 I remember asking Ria if she wanted to do a collab with me on one of the songs and she was like "nah i don't like the album" (the audacity), BUT when the deluxe version came out I saw that she was planning on making a solo vid or a collab on So American, so you can guess that i 💅calmly💅 asked her how fxcking dare she not text me about this given how much I wanted to edit a G@ts song with someone who knows how to handle so many beats😭😭😭 And now, after two months of working on this, it's finally here and I'm so proud of us🥹💜

We went through a few ideas for a style guide before stopping on this oh so patriotic theme for it, given how we're both definitely not Americans I don't think it matters anyway💀 Ria really gave me a challenge with every part she sent me cuz they kept getting better while I was struggling with every little detail sksksk i think we both went out of our comfort zones a lot here, I made so many masks that I literally want to cry😭

ALSO this would've been up sooo much earlier if it hadn't been for the "la la la la love" text because this was a nightmare, we struggled with it a lot until we eventually found a way to make it work (I even asked my buddy ‪@DeviliNsideMe‬ for a little help cuz we left this collab untouched for a good month, and while I was working with him on one variantion of the text Ria came up with another one, so we combined them and it ended up being a charm). I'm so glad we went past this and as soon as we figured it out, it took us only a few days to get this done. Given that we both had exams while working on this thing, I think we did quite good and I honestly don't care what anyone has to say, I love what we did here🥰

I tried to add in a lot of my new favorite ships (and just ships in general lmao), i think it's pretty obvious which parts are mine given that I've sneaked in anime couples everywhere I could😭 I literally didn't know how much I needed to watch anime until I finally did, it kinda healed a part of me that wasn't really there for a while, it made me feel soo much better and alive (given how many times I've cried or laughed until my lungs hurt lmao), it's just a new sort of feeling for me and I'm glad to have found something that makes me happier❤️

Ria, thank you so much for finally collabing with me cuz I've been waiting for sooo long to get the chance to do this, I've made collabs with people I don't even personally talk to but I hadn't with you, which was so ridiculous honestly😭 I'm glad this has changed now and I hope we will do another collab in the future because it's refreshing working with someone who wants this to look good as much as you do. Cheers to you for those incredible parts, the constant additions to the style to make it look even better and for that amazing intro for which you traded your soul to get it to render, I love you and your talent so much🙏💜💜💜💜
