Houston METRORail Red Line, Siemens S700 LRV (H4), Fannin South to Downtown Houston, 4K Ride

Описание: Riding Houston METRORail Red Line Northbound (formally known as The Main Street Line) from Fannin South Station to Burnett Transit Center / Casa de Amigos Station in Downtown Houston on a brand new METRORail Car, 2022 Siemens S700 (H4). As of 2023, the full fare to ride METRORail is $1.25.

OPINION ABOUT THE NEW RAIL CAR:
I'm glad that METRO purchased this rail car because the interior is spacious. I dislike the Siemens S70 H2 because the interior space is small. It feels like I'm inside a sardine can and less room. Although, the H2 does have a great engine and mechanical specs, but the interior is awful. Not ideal for a large city like Houston.

Also, I think the H2 should go to the Green and Purple Lines since the ridership on those both lines are low. H1, H3, and H4 should be on the Red Line since it is a high demand and high frequent rail line. Red Line requires more space to accommodate more passengers. That's just my opinion.

Siemens S70 H1 (first generation rail car at 01:04) is a good rail car and the interior space of the train is decent. CAF Urbos H3 (00:01) is decent and the interior space is very spacious (and I like that).
