Derelict Territorial Army Building Ryde - Abandoned Isle of Wight

An interesting looking building which unfortunately I cannot find very much information about… All I know is that it had previously been used by both the territorial army and local army cadets.
Looking back at the historical images on Google Earth I can see that there was a large structure attached to back of this building which was demolished at some point between 2005 and 2014.
I would imagine that it was still being used up until fairly recently as the electric meter was still on and running.

You may notice a planning permission notice at the start of the video and frustratingly I didn’t take down the reference number and can find no current/prior details of the application on the IOW council website…
I can see that the property and land was scheduled to go to auction on 04.11.16 for the guide price of £180,000 to £200,000
with some outlining plans for between 17-19 houses and flats... On floodplain land

I’d love to find out some more information about the building if anyone has any!
