Impi sailing through squalls in the Pacific ocean with the asymmetric sail. Someone recently asked me about sailing with spinnakers and asymmetric sails - I then realised that not all folks were able to view footage I had posted earlier on, due to certain countries not being able to view the content because of music copyright issues. So - I decided to include some of the original footage and added more sailing time to the original - this is one of those videos where you have to relax and get into the mood of being on-board Impi to experience what it is like when crossing oceans.
You will please have to excuse the rough camera handling here, as it goes back a year or so when I was not accustomed to keeping the camera relatively steady at sea. However, we do share some aspects of asymmetric sailing at sea and include some footage toward the end of how we take the sail down with ease by use of a Tylaska T12 fitting.
