Today's #walking #tour is in Daegu at Seomun Market, a traditional #market located in Daeshin-dong, Jung-gu, Daegu, #southkorea. Today we'll be checking out the delicious street food that makes this market so famous.

Let's stroll around and feel the unique atmosphere created by the merchants and customers who fill the market place. You'll find rare and unique items at this market including local grown vegetables, fruits, mushrooms, #medicinal #plants, #herbs, imported and local #tea, fresh fish, and fresh squeezed juices.

The market is filled with delectable smells of local street #cuisine, including, #kimbap (Korean seaweed rice rolls), glass noodle #mandu (Korean dumplings) topped with #tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), #hotteok (sweet Korean pancakes), #kimchi , sujebi (hand torn noodle soup), #kalguksu (Korean knife cut noodle soup), garak-guksu (thick wheat noodles), #barley #rice, and gamjatang (pork bone soup), just to name a few. The market is also famous for its textiles and fashion products including silk, satin, linen, cotton, and knitted goods. You'll also find a decent selection of crafts, silver products and dried seafood and jewelry, all priced to sell.
