Assam, known for its pristine beauty, where mountains, rivers, forest & the rain, all work as a solid team to make the land stable and vibrant. The mighty river "Brahmaputra" flowing through the heart, joined by a number of tributaries are the lifelines of Assam. Nature designed "Floods" in the valley to rejuvenate the land of Assam. As human greed to harness the resources grew & humans
decided to toy with nature & the river systems, combined with a series of natural catastrophe, The balance is lost and the paradise is gradually turning into a deathbed. This documentary recounts the flood history of Assam since 1897 till now. These floods are a testimony of the fact that when humans do not learn from their past, devastation will keep repeating and eventually turn more aggressive over time.
Since Assam is in critical stage now and its time to shift our mindset from being self centered to nature centered.
