The Whisky Sour goes back a long way. Back to the 1700's to be exact when something was needed to make the watered down naval Rum ration taste better. Over the years there's been countless versions, all equally great in their own right. I like making mine with Forty Creek Canadian Whisky.

The Whisky Sour
--------------------
In a shaker glass combine:
2oz - WHISKY
3/4oz - SIMPLE SYRUP
3/4oz - FRESH LEMON JUICE
1 EGG WHITE
-Dry shake to emulsify the egg white.
-Toss in some ice and shake it good
-Strain into a Rock Glass full of ice or straight up
-Garnish with an Orange slice an Cherry
