Network Two Buildings with Fiber Optic Cable

Описание: Need to extend your network to another building? Using Fiber Optic cabling is a simple and reasonably-priced method for extending the Local Area Network to another building. And, it's a task is something that an intermediately experience IT professional should be able to handle.

Using Fiber Optic components is the most reliable way for those who want to extend my network into another building on property. Especially when those two structures are too far for copper Ethernet cabling (the limit is 100 meters or 330 feet).

Many considerations and careful planning need to be done ahead of time. One of the biggest hurdles is getting the cable across the outdoor span either by underground (conduit) or via aerial cable. Each method has pros and cons. I would say the aerial method is slightly less labor intensive than going the underground method. Depending on the length, digging an underground trench can a very big job. But, does come with the benefit of being more protected from nature elements.
