It's time for a Big Improvement/update in this category (Hard difficulty), especially since the last time I did a Golden Axe 3 Hard speedrun was 7 years (!!) ago
Apparently, at the time of publication, this run is Absolute World Record for Hard difficulty in this game (of course, among REAL speedruns - WITHOUT cheats-hacks-TAS-etc.)
To prove that this run was made live and without Any cheats-hacks-TAS-etc. - I recorded a special demo file while playing through Netplay of my emulator. And if necessary, I can provide this demo/replay
So if someone wants to Officially beat this 21:59 Hard difficulty run, they must also have a working demo file of their run and be ready to provide it

According to [ Speedrun.com ] rules, start of the run is 16:04 on my stopwatch. End of the run - 22:15.31 on stopwatch
22:15.31 - 16:04 = 21:59.27
The emulator I used in this run : Gens 2.14
ROM which I used : "Golden Axe III (J) [!].gen", renamed to "Golden Axe III (J) [!].bin" (because ".gen" extension doesn't allow to record a demo/replay)
