Hosted at the beautiful Queen Victoria Hotel, this event was a collaboration between Newmark Hotel Group and Anthonij Rupert Wyne from Franschhoek. Henrico, the wine ambassador, and Dawie, the winemaker, guided us through a relaxed, immersive evening, where each dish felt perfectly at home with the wines it was paired with. It wasn’t just about food and wine—it was about connection, conversation, and community.

The team from Dash Restaurant made the night seamless, and Chef Anlou surprised us with every course. By the end of the evening, I just had to pop into the kitchen to learn more about the magic behind the meal! If this night was anything to go by, Cape Town is in for some exciting culinary surprises this summer.
