1 Go to the website of MODELLER https://salilab.org/modeller/
2 Firstly, You need to get a license to download a software
3 Go to the registration page and get a licensekey using this link https://salilab.org/modeller/registra...
4 Prereq for running a Modeller is Python https://www.python.org/downloads/rele...
5 Modeller is a python based software for modelling the proteins.
6 Go to NCBI ,search for the desired protein and download its FASTA file.
7 After downloading , go to the documentation of Modeller software and save the file according to the format.
8 Remove the header line, add steric at the end of the sequence and save the file with .ALI extension.
9 While using BLAST, you can also find out the best possible hits for your query sequence.
10 Choose the first 4 on the basis of high percentage identity.
11 Go to RCSB PDB and download the template PDB files by their accession number.
12 Now save all the files in the Modeller directory.
