"ShinYa" 深夜の曲 | Honkyoku for Zen Shakuhachi (Hochiku)
This is a meditative Honkyoku titled "ShinYa" (深夜の曲) — “Song of the Deep Night" is performed on a 2.3 (Bb) Jinashi Hochiku, a traditional Zen bamboo flute crafted by Chōmei (調盟), following the notation of Sogawa Kinya (素川欣也).
The piece embodies the spirit of the Watazumi Dō lineage — raw, powerful, and profoundly silent.
Played in the stillness of the late rainy night, this sound is not meant to entertain, but to awaken.
