Описание: High-level Somali delegation concluded its five-day study visit to the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) with a wrap-up meeting held at BISP Headquarters today. The concluding session was presided over by Additional Secretary, Dr. Tahir Noor.During the visit, the 17 member delegation was comprehensively briefed on BISP’s flagship initiatives including Unconditional Cash Transfers (UCT), Conditional Cash Transfers (CCT), the National Socio-Economic Registry (NSER), objective targeting mechanisms, and the digital payment system.Speaking at the concluding session, Dr. Tahir Noor highlighted that BISP’s success lies in its data-driven targeting, integrated digital systems, and national coverage, making it a model social protection programme globally.On behalf of the delegation, Fardosa Ahmed Abdullahi, Project Coordinator from Somalia, expressed deep appreciation for BISP’s innovative initiatives—particularly the NSER Dynamic Registry. The delegation extended their gratitude to BISP for its warm hospitality and efficient facilitation throughout the visit.
