Exploring Seattle’s Hidden Underground City + Must-See Spots! 🇺🇸

Описание: We decided to explore more of the U.S. and took a quick trip to the beautiful city of Seattle, Washington. Even though we were only there for a short time, we tried to pack in as much as we could — and we definitely hit a lot of the must-see spots!

One of our favorite experiences was the Seattle Underground Tour, where we learned about the city's wild history. After the Great Seattle Fire of 1889, the city was rebuilt one story higher, leaving the original street level underground. Now, you can walk through those old passageways and see what’s left of early Seattle — super cool and kind of eerie!

We also stopped by the Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP), which is full of awesome exhibits on music, movies, and video games. Then we took a trip 605 feet up the iconic Space Needle for some amazing views of the city skyline and Mount Rainier (when the fog isn’t too thick!).

The next day, we visited the first ever Starbucks, which opened in 1971 right here in Seattle. It still has the original branding and old-school vibes — definitely worth checking out if you’re a coffee lover. From there, we walked around the lively Pike Place Market, full of local vendors, fresh seafood, and all kinds of snacks. Just around the corner is the infamous Gum Wall, an alley covered in layers of chewed gum — it started back in the 1990s when theatergoers began sticking their gum on the wall while waiting in line.

Also, pro tip: try as many snacks and food spots as you can — Seattle’s food scene is amazing! And definitely bring a jacket, because the city’s known for being foggy and rainy — and yes, the weather really does live up to the hype.
