REMOTE ISLAND TOUR - Delft, Sri Lanka 🇱🇰

Описание: When researching about Jaffna and the north of Sri Lanka everyone kept mentioning Delft the most remote place of Sri Lanka. Obviously I had to go there!

Early morning I took the boat to Delft island. Upon my arrival I saw a sign of Cactus Juice and decided to give it a try, it was made of local cacti. Very earthy taste but I'm sure it was very healthy.

After that I started touring the island with a Tuktuk, we explored the ruins of the Dutch hospital, the Dutch fort. We saw a beautiful Hindu temple and so many more.

When I heard that there was a local drink called Toddy I wanted to give it a try. The tuktuk driver arranged a meetup in a hidden corner of the island where the local toddy-man was selling his goods. It tasted like a light beer, not bad at all.

After that we continued touring and eventually I got back to the port where I tried a fresh aloe vera juice before embarking on the boat direction back to main land.
