A flight from Beijing to Los Angeles encounters problems when it dives and climbs so severely that two passengers are killed and 150 others are injured. The crew manages to divert to a top-secret US Air Force base on a remote Alaskan island. Investigators can find no trace of turbulence, and the search is on for what made the plane dive and climb so suddenly.
