I was alone in a big cold house in the Ardèche, South East of France. The point of being there was to create some music, try new stuff, find inspiration...
I was going around in circles, when I saw a video from Cuckoo on his Youtube channel inviting us to a Jamuary challenge...
It gave me that tiny sparkle which literally lifted me out of the sofa, and made me wander around the house looking for ideas.
The result is here: a humble chillout ambient jam with a kind of random "semi generative" pattern on the Elektron Model Cycles, and a sweet taste of clarinet on top, going through guitar pedals.
The challenge was to perform or record at least some part of this jam in an unlikely space. Sitting on a gas bottle in the middle of a cold unfinished entry hall was quite unlikely...
And then it got weird...
