The Indian Cove Nature Trail is a 0.6mi loop with a small amount of elevation change, with steps, at the western end of the Indian Cove individual camping area of Joshua Tree National Park (NP). Overall, the Indian Cove area is relatively small, and is mostly an area for camping within a portion of the Joshua Tree NP.
Two official trails exist within Indian Cove, this nature trail loop and the north eastern end of the Boy Scout Trail. An unofficial, make-your-own-trail exists at the eastern end of Indian Cove where you decide how to scramble up the large rocks and boulders at the Rattlesnake Canyon Trailhead.
