Fertile Crescent

Описание: Sixth Grade students from Roosevelt Middle School update how to learn about Mesopotamia and the Fertile Crescent. Students from Todd LaVogue's Social Studies class worked 10 weeks with Jennifer O'Brien, a visual teaching artist, and Resource Depot, a nonprofit organization that collects reusable materials and uses them for art, to compare and contrast ancient methods to modern day. This project, Building Learning Communities through Arts and Culture, is funded by the Palm Beach County Cultural Council.
