東京ビッグサイト（東京都江東区）で開催中のマンガの祭典「コミックマーケット（コミケ）83」の「コスプレエリア」では、人気キャラクターにふんしたコスプレーヤーが自慢の衣装を披露している。昨年夏には"長もの"と呼ばれる小道具の使用を認めるなど近年大幅な規制緩和が図られてきたが、今回からは増加するコスプレーヤーに対応する形でコスプレを撮影できるエリアも大幅に拡大され、より多くの参加者が気軽にコスプレを楽しめるようになった。（毎日新聞デジタル）
