These are my 7 tips on how to use Lavaloon decks in Clash Royale:
1. Check your starting hand:
if you have Lava Hound, play it as long as you also have a good defensive card in hand.
if you don't have Lava Hound, patiently cycle and be ready to defend
2. Against hog rider decks always have your barbarians ready
3. Cycle to try to keep a ground card available at all times
4. Play lava hound after positive elixir trades
5. The game isn't over until it's actually over
6. Sometimes the best defense is a relentless offense
7. Know when to leave opponents cards alone, and when to cheaply defend
