I can celebrate the reopening of the Disneyland Railroad everyday. It starts with the first cup of coffee in the morning as the Hartland Locomotive Works custom built E.P. Ripley and C.K. Holliday engines embark on a Grand Circle Tour of my living room on the overhead track. I'm able to run both trains on a single track through the magic of the RR Concepts modules which automatically switches trains after five laps each.
Later I can enjoy the LGB Disneyland Paris locomotives, W.F Cody and C.K. Holliday on the bakyard layout while consuming REALLY GOOD beer from our local microbrewery. I regulate the speed of both trains through a Massoth DCC system. The Cody has a Phoenix sound system installed whereas the Holliday came with LGB factory installed sound. Can you hear the difference?
The last thing I see at night are the Disneyland Railroad trains circling overhead from the comfort of my favorite chair during the 11:00 pm news broadcast. I love retirement!
