Описание: Situated in the Talamanca mountain range lies Biolley, a remote agricultural community struggling to save their way of life. The protected rainforest in the mountains is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and its status is: 'In Peril'. Mono-cropping and industrial pineapple farming has deforested several areas that used to be home to beautiful, tropical creatures and enormous lush plant varieties. The rainforest is disappearing at alarming rates and if we don't stop this madness we will all perish. The rainforest holds the key for breathing air, fresh waters and highly medicinal plant life. Growing food forests in the rainforest and promoting the right kind of eco-tourism is key to working the lands in harmony with the earth's rhythm and energy. Please join us in saving this very special place rainforest, The La Amistad International Park stretches far and wide through southern Costa Rica and into Panama. It is the largest rainforest park in Central America. Please join us in making a difference by forming a digital alliance with farms in the area, tourism and sound land acquisitions to serve as natural buffer zones, river protection, regenerative food forest farming and low carbon footprint eco tourism.
