In his latest video, Rabea Massaad brought up some really great points about the growing trend of fake performances and how the unrealistic standards that are being set as a result are negatively impacting all guitar players - from the experienced professionals to the youngest beginners. Because this is something that has been troubling me for some time, Rabea's video resonated with me in a deep way and as soon as I finished watching it, I felt compelled to turn on the camera and capture my thoughts.
This is quite different from the researched, scripted, and well-structured video we normally make on this channel, but it was important to me that I get these thoughts out regarding a conversation that desperately needs to be had.
