Description: The Eastern Wirrah is a medium-sized reef-associated fish with a robust, deepbodied shape and striking colouration. Its body is golden-brown with large, pale blue-to-white spots evenly distributed across its body and fins. Found in rocky reefs and coastal waters at depths of 10–50 meters, this solitary and territorial species prey on small fish and crustaceans. Its distinctive spotted pattern and bold appearance make it a recognisable species in its range.
Size: Length up to 60 cm (maximum)
Diet: Small fish, crustaceans
