The UN will meanwhile consult with regional African leaders at this weekend's upcoming AU Summit about the role of a future facilitator to the political process in Burundi. It follows the resignation of Great Lakes Envoy Said Djinnit as the facilitator. Opposition groups and civil society accused him of bias in favour of the Burundian government.
